RON AND JOYCE SYMES

Tomorrow, Ron and Joyce celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Moving to Billericay in 1959, and because of an injury, Ron played only 8 games for Billericay Town FC reserves in 1960 when the club was based at Sun Corner. From there they have both been staunch supporters of the club. Both can be found down at the club on most days, with Ron up a ladder performing any odd job that is required and Joyce making sure the club house is in a "spick and spam" condition for us motley crew to mess up.

 

I must say that I have not met nicer people and I think those of us who are in the clubhouse tomorrow should raise a glass and toast their success.
