It was great, we need to get as many people on board as possible. I am getting signatures at the moment. With the elections coming up the council need to see how many votes they will lose if they decide to opt for the money. Why the Gills need a 30/40000 stadium when they do not fill their current one in the championship and they are heading to league 1, so they are going to need that bigger stadium beacuse.....Scally doesn't care about the stadium or the football club. He is in it for the land to build houses and his super casino. I loved the comment made by Liam 'What would they be called? Gillingham-on-Gravesend?' Quality

That is the general idea, gnfc superb - but remember, not all Fleet fans live locally - and whilst it currently only includes the match report, one hopes that it will eventually be a full online version of the Reporter.

Terrific statement by Liam. A real snub for any doubting Thomas's that he is the man for the club. I cannot ever remember a new manager getting so publically behind his new club and berating our "enemy" so vociferously.

He has shouted out what us "little" people have been saying for a time.

Can't the Club get the Reporter to publish this kind of stuff in the Gravesend Express (its free sister paper).

 

Not everyone buys the Reporter - the Gravesend Express is a free paper and would get seen by a lot of people, who otherwise wouldn't buy a paper.

 

The Fleet need to get the message across to as many people as possible and unless you buy the Reporter its unlikely that many people in Gravesham are going to be aware of the Fleet Campaign?

I can mention it to John Lewis when I see him tomorrow, but you have to remember that the campaign is not purely altruistic, they need to sell newspapers as well.

Exactly. There's no point in them loading the Express with lots of their material, because then people would feel no need to buy a Reporter.
