Cleaning up the game and the ESL.

Did anyone read the NLP on Sunday. Big article re cleaning up the games image at the lower levels.

 

I remember commenting on this forum a few weeks back after witnessing a few unsavory scenes at ESL games on the issue. I suggested that the ESL shoul put it on the agenda fro their next all club meeting and try to deliver a code of conduct. Yet again I read on Saturday of a player in our league having to be restrained from attacking the ref. Not acceptable im afraid.

 

To sum up, do we want a "Mean it Mick" type League or a "Zody" type one?

Without outspoken comments from MIM there would be no posters and threads like this " i counted the number of people at our game and counted 12 and 1 dog , however the non league paper has stated the attendance was 10 , there were clearly 12 people there (13 if you count the dog) , i cant believe the injustice done to our club" .

if people are interested, without slagging my methods, at youth level the best thing to come from the FA was the introduction of the FA Charter Standard Club Award.

You seem to forget the Manor Romford game a few years ago when your player was sent off but run back from the tunnel punching any Manor player which moved!!!

What a great game that was with us scoring in the last 5 minutes to take victory and blow kisses at your fans as we left the pitch!

It was a sweet victory though.

Your manager has actually met me at Romford dogs and he got straight on the blower to his assistant to tell him he'd met me. Your gaffer still the copper, he is nice fella.
