Unfortunately the contractors have not finished the work on time, and so the new bar will not be unveiled tomorrow night. <img src="/forums/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

The bar will be open, but under the same conditions as the Canvey match (no strongbow).

 

I will let you have more information as it arrives.

Real ale would be superb but in its absence, how about some bottled ales? Bishops Finger is the best bottled beer by a country mile but there's still the likes of Old Speckled Hen, Ruddles County, tons of them. Get a fridge full of them, sell them for a reasonable price and bingo! the club make money and Wobbly and me get rat-arsed! A match made in heaven.

Adnams 'Broadside' would go down a treat

Broadside - a top quality shout and I doff my cap in your direction. Not one for an all day session tho'.

 

Not as far East as the Adnams brewery, and to prove that some good does come out of Essex ( altho now taken over by GK of Suffolk) ' Old Bob ' from Ridleys is a particular fave of mine at the moment.
