What an awesome experience at Roots Hall tonight,a brilliant 2-2 draw ( 4-3 agg ) see Southend United through to their second Millenium Stadium final in two years. Many tributes to Steve Tilson and as for their ex Grays Athletic non-league sensation Freddy Eastwood - his contribution was total . Nothing to do with the ESL I know but they are Essex and we can all be proud of them !

Its two nn's for the big boys but as we are minnows, the stadium reverts to one "n" , oh and by the way, the mystery of Mr Eastwood's first name ( Fredy ) deepens as the mighty Evening Echo tonight calls him " Freddy" and surely they are never wrong. Both mistakes caused by over-exuberance last night - sorry !
