Hayes were exactly as you would expect ON the field, physical, clear the lines first football second but overall good solid performers attempting to recover confidence from a very bad experience last season

 

Off the pitch awful seating for anybody over five feet two tall, one tea and food outlet, plenty of space as a). ground is underdeveloped and . for an established London side a poor turnout that will never support a Conference side

 

If football seriously wishes to get money in at the grass routes, development of non-league facilities and the obvious ability of non-league clubs to introduce youngsters to the game could be the right place to start
