Easter Weekend.

Can anyone tell me is there any chance that due to all these cancelled fixtures that we can re-arrange at least one of them for Easter weekend?

Or am i being too sensible for the ESL?

Im still at a loss as to why we have not got a fixture on a Holiday weekend, great forward planning that was!

Looking at the another website (excellent it is too)it appears we will still have 9 league games, a minimum 2 ESL league cup games, & a Middx charity cup semi final, so thats a minimum 12 games in what amounts to 7 weekends to the end of April, take into consideration that the ESL Cup semi's are on Saturdays & at the moment we dont have a game Easter weekend, that means for the 9 league games there is only 4 Saturdays available.

So does this mean 5 mid-week league games and the charity cup semi also mid-week.

Mr Chairman can you shed any light please?

Easter Saturday's probably blank because somebody has to draw the short straw. As I understand it you did have a fixture arranged for the Monday but that was subsequently changed because it turned out the pitch was already booked?

 

Your home game with Barkingside is now arranged for Tuesday 29th, according to Centre Spot. Mind you it also says we were 3-0 up on Tuesday before it was abandoned, and suggests it was down to the weather! The APSA publicity machine doesn't sound too well-oiled.

Only 4 matches arranged for Sat 26th, and of the 7 teams not playing that day we still have outstanding fixtures against, Basildon (a), Burnham (a), Southend (a), Concord (h), Waltham Abbey (h)

Have a word with someone then, suggest that the loser of the outstanding GBT semi (Southend v Abbey) plays you on that day, since that is the day for the final.

 

Len might already have that in mind, you never know. If you arrange it all among yourselves then I'm sure he'll be only too happy for you to do that, as long as you give enough notice to appoint officials etc!

Well that puts paid to that one then. But still, if you arrange a fixture yourselves with one of those other clubs, I can't see the league saying you can't play it. Len did say he was going to push for clubs to be made to re-arrange postponed games themselves to be played within 28 days, like the Ryman League used to (don't know if they still do) although that doesn't appear to have come into force yet.

mayeb it was but im a nautral blonde. or was, untill about 7, then i was just brunette, then i went quite dark till about 13, 14. now i gone peroxide..
