at least we see loads of volunteers to do the job of stewards at g.n.f.c from the people who moan and winge about them in this forum.but unfortunatly we don`t.So why do they come on here moaning about them.I like the way they have improved and got better this season and i would willingly take my family down to stonebridge road as i think it is safer and more friendly now.

i feel the stewards at gnfc are being wrongly put down as they do work hard and not all of them stand around watching the game do not judge them all we the same brush. i surpport the stewards in there work and wish them the best.

I presume that ball boys are not allowed on the terrace either - lest they trip over.

 

As for the 2 stewards, they need to have eyes in the back of their heads should hoards of supporters flock onto the terrace.

It wouldn't surprise me to see them with riot shields, batons and CS gas sprays.

they have to stewards in the unused stand for fans safty. wouldnt you rather it fall on them rather than your self.

As i said earlier, the two stewards are 'multi-tasking'.

job 1) Keeping us out

job 2) Throwing back the stray balls

job 3) Keeping the pigeons company

job 4) Watching over us all, and making sure we do not have tops on our bottles...!

i see once again the moaners and wingers are on again about the stewards and we know who these moaners are now who work in one of the turn stiles you thought you could keep your identity secret.But no one has piped up about the poor lonely steward at the away end at the end of the game.stitched up but only this once

i see that we have people talking about the stewards but i have found them to be very good at there job they dont make you feel intimidated they have a very freindly team i have also noticed they have more female ones who have joined ther team which i think is a good idea
