Form since Christmas/ Season Overall

Whilst its not been as strong as last season, our record from the Crawley game on Boxing Day onwards is P15, W7, D5, L3 (all competitions). Not bad despite our moans at times.

 

In the league in that period, its P9 W3,D4,L2. Not outstanding, I know, but not bad either.

 

We now potentially have 3 tricky away games before the end of season - Woking, Stevenage & Exeter. We are capable of getting something from each of those games (particularly if Stevenage &/or Exeter are out of playoff contention/ have booked their play off places, by the time we play them).The other away games arent so difficult (York, Northwich and Farnborough).

 

Our remaining home games are all winnable (Halifax, Morecambe, FGR, Burton and Canvey, with Halifax probably being the toughest).

 

We need 19 points to better last seasons total and I think thats quite achievable. If we get that, we will still be seen to be progressing in the right direction.

 

Of course, we mustn't forget that we are also in the quarter finals of the Trophy (with a reasonable chance of getting to the semi final at least) and the KSC Semi Final (with a decent chance of winning that).

 

For all the worry we've had this season, it could yet turn out to be a memorable season for the fans and players of Gravesend & Northfleet Football Club
