Mr Pike is a good player. Although when he was tapped up once, he told them to match his wages. Fair point - although he said it was three figures playing for Sawbo. Do you reckon? Well Mr Pike here are three figures for you. £030

Neither do I. He was at Arsely early in the season. Pikey is a Sawbo boy ay heart. I don't think any of us would leave unless the money would actually change our quality of life. Which in this league it doesn't.Too much of a team bond out in the sticks of Hertfordshire. 20/30 quid more isn't worth bothering about. Not many players play at this level for the cash. And certainly not at Sawbo for the cash!!!

good shout hoy , a great example being (even though a little further up the pyramid and more cash!!) Hornchurch . Id guess none of the players at the club have made more than 50 appearances for them .

Most of us can and have been offered more money to play for different clubs and turned it down. In additon the players play for Don more than for Sawbo. He tends to reward loyalty with loyalty. New ground - eventually. Some new faces - maybe but the core of the team will be the same players.

Scouse by the time that new ground comes mate we will have hung those boots well and truly up.

Good performance sat i thought we played some really good football on that pile of sh@t, i nearly cried when i came off head to toe in mud only to find the showers had packed up.

You really no when your careers hit rock bottom when your having a hand wash out of the sinks in the away bog.

Stand up wash in the bog- It wasn't like that at Runcorn!! Probably were I would end up though!

I thought every one of us won our battles on Sat. That contributed to us then starting to play some really good football even on the mud bath at Stansted.

I really think we have destroyed their pitch for the rest of the season. I hope the ressies don't knacker our pitch on Weds.

Ah! That takes me back.

Reminds me of the old days at junior and intermediate level.

In cold water as well.

What's the likely timescale for a new ground? I can imagine that the current site will be ripe for redevelopment. But, isn't there a danger that the club could lose its Senior status under the FA's plans. Would it meet the criteria currently being bandied about?

We have seen the blueprints that's it. Realistically about 4 years
