Chins v The Kosovan Pikkies - Latest Score

Grays looked awesome at times today,. Very impressed with John Martin and Thurgood but credit to Hornchurch who never gave up. It was men against boys at times out there.

Grays are mostly a decent bunch but the so called fans or should I say glory hunters who I had a altercation with on the train are scum and definitely give Grays a bad name!!

These were a group of obnoxious 20 somethings who I doubt were following Grays more than a year ago. I was in the clubhouse until just after 7pm and didn't notice them in there. Unfortunately they got on at Grays station and seemed to be going on a night out to Southend.

They obviously had been to the game because they were chatting about it. One of them noticed my programme. I decided to have a bit of banter with them, mentioned I was a Canvey fan and made a comment about Lee Boylan never wanting to play for them. One of the pricks decided to throw a beer can at me. Luckily I was on the relative safety of the platform and was able to mouth insults back.

The ironic thing was I got into an altercation with them at Benfleet not Grays. I often get the train to meet my mates and to get on in a carriage full of chavs singing "we are Grays" at Benfleet would have been rather unexpected!!

Probably the same ones that unfortunately I bumped into on the train. From what I could see the lot in the corner looked a younger crowd.

Did anyone see Burberry boy who was involved in he dust up by the toilets at our place??

I was not impressed by Grays although the pitch was poor. Judas was rubbish all he did all day was celebrate (big time) everytime they scored!!! He will not make their team next season!!!!!!

not quite true Dad...it was never much different from the day he came...always borrowing money...always late for training and always scamming it....

he even rang me before xmas and threatened me over the missing months money....

you can imagine my displeasure given that his ops cost me personally 12 grand....

he did seem somewhat surprised however after I told him where to go....

greedy desperate gambler who will never have fck all after his 'career' is over....

burning bridges comes to mind...

he truly doesn't even understand why you guys are on his back.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Can't really blame John for his reaction. He didn't get a look in under the previous management.

I remember speaking to him week in week out 'are you in mate???....'nah not even on the bench'.

Anyway it's all water under the bridge now. We have moved on and so has John. Good luck to him.
