At this rate we'll be doing about 5 walks. Anyone know if Windsor are playing today and if so how bad is their pitch going to be afterwards for Tuesday's match? Maybe the Woodster can update us later. We STILL haven't played either them or Hendon and this season is either going to end in relegation or in farce with us not playing all our games. Windsor game is on as of now with some puddle's on the pitch that have to be cleared. Looked on the bbc's 5 day forcast and the only rain between now and tuesday is on...Tuesday!

is this the time when we are supposed to get really worried about the backlog? playing 3 or 4 games in a week does not sound good!

But why won't the league let us play games in May?

I guess because they can't be seen to be helping certain teams over others. The Ryman league has been strict in recent years and it won't be any different this season.

Unfortunately the price of cup success is a frantic end of season league programme. It cost Canvey promotion a few years ago.

Yep... but they did have the small consolation of an FA Trophy victory if I'm thinking of the right season !

There are two reasons as to why:-

1) Because the season was set to end on Saturday 30th April.

2) If they were to extend the season past that date then ALL clubs with contracted players would have to keep paying them until all the teams had finished playing weather they had finishsed themselves or not.
