I don't listen to modern music. To do so I would get sucked into buying something that I don't really want due to advertising, neither do I watch MTV or Top of the Pops. Listen to these and your gaurenteed to start ordering the leatest ringtones and screens for you phone.

Depends what kind of modern, though Harry. There's yer Pop Idol 'modern' and then there's yer indie 'modern'. Will Young and Franz Ferdinand are a world apart...

True Ed, but the advertisers will stick ads on what sells. Will Young sells (although he is poor) Franz Ferdinand are good and they also sell.

My last CD purchase was The Anti-Nowhere League, a bunch of punk bikers from Tunbridge Wells. All songs include foul and abusive language along with references to lewd sexual acts, alchohol, drug taking, anti-social behaviour and oral sex with goats. They don't write them like that anymore!

why do people have to swear in songs unless its to make a point theres no real point
