We'll all be dead. Get over it.

What a moronic comment. It won’t suddenly happen; people won’t suddenly wake up on the morning of January 1st 2100 to find that they are suddenly in a minority. It happens gradually, Leicester in couple of years, London by 2010, Bradford and Birmingham a few years later, when Gravesend by 2025? You think I’m joking? We’ve seen positive discrimination elsewhere in society, but how long before we see it at local government level?
it's being considered

If Labour chairman Ian McCartney comments towards the end of the article are anything to go by, then it could become a reality. How very democratic, whatever happened to the best person for the job?

No more moronic than your statement that it's 'scary stuff'. What's scary about more black people than white people unless your fundamental argument works on the basis that white people are superior?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you can't debate the issue, or call for tighter immigration controls, or question the validity of economic migrants. Fine, I might even agree with a lot of what you're saying. People such as FF have questioned it in an intelligent way on here - where I have a problem with it is that the issue dredges up people who can't see beyond the "we're being swamped" argument and they become fixated on it - bringing up Enoch Powell as someone did in a previous post isn't a healthy contribution to what should be a healthy debate... but probably not on a footy forum.

Bradford's been like it for years.
Try the lovely areas of Manningham and Great and Little Horton!

Handsworth in Birmingham, Glodwick in Oldham,. St Paul's in Bristol, Moss Side in Manchester, Toxteth in Liverpool...but they're just areas, not whole towns.
