On a lighter note....I am still celebrating the World Cup of 1966....and the FA Cup of 1935.....and the League Cup of 1991....and Che's goal at Bedford !!...and all day opening !!!

What an appallingly racist set of comments, all appearing on one thread. This makes me ashamed of sharing a ground with the rest of our supporters. Frankly the levels of stupidity is what has annoyed me most. According to some here, it seems that all Albanians are stupid, that they are all illegal immigrants, and that all foreigners in Gravesend are dodgy, Albanian, criminals. Such a display of ignorance sickens me, especially from a group of people I tend to see as a well informed bunch of lads. Sort it out.

You do raise some good points Bernard, not all Albanians are illegal immigrants and if your going to say they are then you may as well say the same about every person under the age of 16. Albanians certinly aren't stupid, many of them have worked their way up from nothing, either from legal means or illegal means but if it is organised crime you'd still have to be smart.

 

Anyway I'm starting to sound a little annoying (no change there then) but this forum is just ment to be a bit of fun, as is this thread so in future lets keep comments like "Albanians are stupid" to a minimun please.

To be honest, I have to agree, not sure I want to spend any time with a bunch of supposed 'fellow supports' who think I'm a racist.. Sorry if the above seems harsh, got a terrible cold/flu, and I do not mean to be so moody. However, rest assured, I'm no racist, I understand the plight of certain people and their reasons for seeking asylum in our country. The fact that I said Scally could capitalise on these people (who are oblivious to Scally and his idealism) as extra support to his proposed plans. Those more adverse to his behaviour would not partake in such a venture (namely, the foundation members of the Gravesham community).

This is not racist, nor is is detremental to the good people of Gravesend. It's simply a case of Scally making the most of the people who know nothing or little about him..!! Whereas, those who do, are educated enough not to get involved, and so oppose the whole idea.

Apologies, if any of you were offended by my initial comments, but in future PM me before branding me a racist..!!!!!!

What exactly is racist about the comments I’ve made? Only 1 in 5 failed asylum seekers are removed from the UK, and there are already a quarter of a million failed applicants now residing here. In Kent the cost of dealing with asylum seekers each year has risen from £250,000 in 1996 to £53 million today! It isn’t racist to state facts. Whilst I accept that many immigrants have contributed to this country, Incomers from the following countries provide the following ethnic benefits: Albania: Sex trade and people-smuggling

Algeria: Drug-smuggling, benefit fraud

China: Snakehead gangs control illegal immigration, gangs active is synthetic drugs and credit card fraud.

Jamaica: Yardie gangs control drug-trafficking

Kosovo: In competition with Albanians for control of sex trade

Lithuania: Forgeries of passports, driving licences and banknotes

Moldova: People smuggling, particularly young women

Nigeria: Cocaine and cannabis trade, email, credit card scams and smuggling women

Russia: Drugs and cigarette smuggling

Turkey: Heroin trade and people smuggling – in competition with Kurdish gangs.

 

Has this list been drawn up by some repellent race hater, some narrow minded “little-Englander” who hates everything foreign? Oh no, this is a list produced by Scotland Yard and which appeared in a recent edition of the “Times”.

Unfortunately there are far too many people just waiting to nitpick what other people say. The comment that started it all was that Scally should concentrate on the Albanian population as they weren't as sensible as Fleet fans.

That to me was purely a football observation,that they wouldn't be as aware as Fleet fans as to what is going on in the Area.

But the Fleet nitpickers(makes you wonder sometime if they aren't racist against their OWN race!!!!) decided to make a racist issue out of it.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can no longer go into the Fleet Clubhouse and order a BLACK Russian!

I wished I lived in the 50 s , There can t have been any crime at all before immigration ! . And of course the Times isnt right wing at all so its totally impartial .
