The NLP Today

It is very rare that this publication draws a smile onto my lips but today, I can safely say it did today.

 

On the front page is a picture of Danny Potter, the Canvey keeper, vainly stretching as Stortford's winning goal sails over his grasping hands...

 

Now to complete my weekend, would be the Sunday edition 's front page picture of Chelmsford's winning goal sailing over Boretree's keeper at New Lodge on tomorrow...

You softy you. Reckon the weather must put our game in some doubt>? Don't envy you your trip to Harrow but think you should win comfortably. Only been the once - thought it was an awful place.

It is a awful place and I doubt the game will be on there as the last time we played 'em the pitch was sh*te!!! Worse than ours in it's present state.

YEp. Find it depressing going to these places. Very basic ground, poor crowds and no interest from the locals. A lot of clubs in this league will never progress to a higher league status and no doubt some of them never want to....

I like the way he puts down that there is one team in Essex...so what about Colchester, Southend (ooooo did he not support them?), Heybridge, Maldon (paired by chance), us, Pike...Canvey, Chelmsford, us, Hornchurch (I'm led to believe, soon to be departed - yeah...rite and deny us the chance to have a go at the Urchins next season!!!), us, Grays (or is that Greater London)....Oh too many for me to mention...

 

Does this mean he can only count up to one?
