I've always rated Dobbo. Great player who gives 110% to the cause!

He's a legend just for knobbling Kevin Maher!!

As far as I know, he's out for the season and his contract is up this Summer. Doesn't really look good for him, just like Spencer Knight. Be nice to have the Club stand by him till he's 100% though and maybe come back and train also like Spence did.

ive seen that mapes play on several occasions hes way out of his depth. we need quality

I haven't come to any conclusions about Mapes.

 

He started OK at Burton, but it was quite a poor game generally.

 

Both Crawley and Wycombe seem to suggest he starts brightly and then through lack of confidence or whatever he fades.

 

If you've seen him several times then I bow to your superior knowledge, but I think the guy deserves a chance.

I would like to have seen Dobbo this season to see how he got on.

 

Unfortunately injury has curbed that. If it is a back injury it may always effect him - especially as he's not the sort of player to hold back.

 

Would like to see us stick with him, but I suppose the cold facts are if Jeff wants another midfield player he may well lose Dobbo and spend the money bringing in someone else.

 

Does anybody know if there are any other player contracts up at the end of the season?
