The phrase didn't not state it would be sunny at night.
It said it would be 3 degrees tonight.
Gravesend was described as sunny because whilst every other lucky sod in Kent seemed to get a mini-ice age each day, we had bloody sunshine!

There has been snow in Gravesend this morning but it has all gone now. Still think there might be a possibility of the pitch being waterlogged. Been down to wash the car this morning and has a quick scout (no-one saw me) and it looked ok!!! But then the snow struck and it melting will have had an effect. We will see!!!!

Yeah but it takes 10cm of snow to generate 1cm of water, so on that ratio, it should be no worse than a good downpour..!!

Fingers crossed for good conditions tomorrow, that is off course if I can get outta Maidstone, else I will have to listen ont wireless... (said in a broad north Yorkshire accent..)
