There has been alot said about Windsor not missing the players and Manager that departed to Maidenhead with Woody and other adamant that apart from Kersey you are not missing out on these players....

Here are the facts....

under Mr Greene this season in Ryman Prem

P 20 W 6 D 8 L 6 F 24 A 25 PTS 26

Under the new bloke and without players who are not missed by Windsor and Loser

P 11 W 2 D 2 L 7 F 12 A 24 PTS 8

Under Greene our record wasn't great!

Lets remember Dennis had a few seasons experience before whilst Dave has had to suddenly take on a new role.

I think you'll see the reason we've not played well is goals. Did you take any Strikers? No. We've just not played well.

Whilst we've not m issed an individual player having so many changes in one season is not a great thing to have!

We weren't exactly setting the world alight when Dennis was still here, even if he'd stayed all season I doubt very much we'd have made the play-offs (look at the record before he left) although we'd have probably been in a better spot than at present.

Whilst we don't miss many of the players the fact is that having so many go has caused disruption and even if we sign new blokes of similar ability it will take a little while for them to settle in.

If they're that good how come they haven't pulled you out of the crap yet? Is this why you took on Dennis, on the promise he'd bring shed-loads of players from a mid-table side playing in the division below?

Think hard Mr Magpie...

If you read the post I said only one has been regular.

Our predicament is the fault of Dryer not Greene's.

Stupid idiot.... half of the guys that left for Maidenhead are playing for the stiffs. Only Kersey has earmarked his position.... You results since the departure of Mr Greene are WORSE than before so I suggest you are talking rubbish with regard you do not miss the players.

More facts:

Mr. Greene's first 11 games as Windsor Manager (when he was the 'new bloke'):

P 11 W 1 D 1 L10 F 10 A 24 PTS 4

Congratulations to Mr. Carroll on a superior start to his predecessor, collecting twice as many points in a higher league.

Mr. Greene's first season in charge resulted in a final position of dead last, 5 points adrift of the rest of the division. The team won only 5 of 28 games under him, (and lost 17). This is the benchmark for WEFC to compare Mr. Carroll to Mr. Greene.

I think Decorum's stats prove how hard it is to start off as a manager. Well Done Dave! With him seemingly fit again (just in time for the Sluff game!) let's hope he will help us beat relegation with games to spare!
