If Roy is going to miss Scarborough, Halifax and bashing the bishop we are going to be very lightweight up front...and if Manny or Pinns get injured we have no cover.

So far Liam has made a good start but the only change from Andy's side has been to bring Matt Lovell back into the starting lineup, I think we might learn a bit about Liam over the next fortnight.

Don't really matter when you have Jay as top scorer, the front men seem to surplus to requirement lately..!
I'm sure whatever formation/squad is fielded, we will have the grit and determination to win, which off course we will.!!!

Surplus to requirements?? Think you'll find Manny has scored the winner in all three rounds of the trophy. The manager however, needs another striker and perhaps a centre half, maybe on loan ASAP

So does anyone know what Roy has actually done? And before anyone says it (you know who you are!), I know he collided with the goalpost!.

Manny may have scored the winner, but we would be a bit light weight up front, and unfortunately, I think Liam may ask Jay to drop back to cover the centre back spot, as Bunce doesn't look fit enough yet, and Conkers didn't look as confident as usual there on saturday.

Very perceptive, Slarti. Every manager has to face problems like this now and again - this is a key test.

Bunce is Cup Tied anyway, if I recall rightly.

We did take Gary Richards on Work Experience as cover under Andy, but it would be a big gamble to rely on him for a full 90 minutes in a big game like Bishops Stortford.

Gleds is not a natural Centre Half, and even though he did enough against Slough, I'm not sure I'd want to rely on him there for the next 4 weeks (which would stretch close to, if not past, the Trophy Semi 1st leg, if we get there (and maybe even both legs))

Is Roy's 2 weeks from today, or from the point he got injured? If its from last Saturday, then he could still be close to playing against Bishops Stortford.

Perhaps we will play a defencive game and rely on only one striker for any forward balls. This way we do not expose any weaknessess throughout the centre of the formation..!

Could still win the game, but at worst, gain a point against a side 10 points ahead of us, not a bad result..

Eight points with two games in hand for us, actually. So we're potentially not that far behind them at all ('potentially' being the operative word ).

why has everyone piped up to playing mussa up front all of a sudden

He's slipped them all a tenner. You'll find the players do that, pay people on here to talk them up to get in the team. It's good pocket money, superb, you should give it a go...
