All credit to Harry J for getting amongst the Boro fans on Saturday.

Not only did they all sign the petition, but so did their chairman, Malcolm Reynolds(top bloke) and the reporter from BBC Radio York.

They all recognise that "there but for the grace of God" any club could be faced with the situation facing the Fleet and they, like most football fans, want to express their support.

Liam Daish and Alan Kimble have signed up, as have virtually all the players and you will be seeing more activity in the Reporter over the coming weeks.

I understand that further names will be collected home and away for all matches for the rest of the season. If you don't get asked to sign, go the the club shop and sign up and, even better take some forms to photocopy and hand out to your friends, collecagues, neighbours, customers or anybody you know, to elist further support.

If every Fleet fan, and especially those who visit this message board, were to do that you would all be playing your part and you would help Brian Kilcullen achieve his aims and objectives for the club.

The forms which have already been completed and sent to the Reporter are being handed over to Jessica tomorrow and she will be collecting all forms on behalf of the Fleet Trust before they are handed over to Brian for him to use as evidence of the level of widespread support to present to the relevant authorities.

Don't just post messages on this board - do your bit like Harry! Talk is cheap. He may come out with some classics occasionally but at least he knows he has done something positive to support the campaign.

Can everybody else say the same?

Thanks for your comments Charles, I will visit the shop tonight and grab some petition forms. I'm guessing it doesn't matter that most of my signees will be from the Maidstone area?...

Anyway, I got a lot of respect for Harry, especially fronting away supporters for signatures. Good job fella.!!!

Charles, was that your daughter getting the petition signed in the stand

on Saturday. She seemed to be doing a good job. Actually I had some forms to try and get signatures from the stand, but as she was younger and better looking I decided that she would be more than capable of doing the stand on her own. I took my forms home and have given them to the family to see if they can get signatures.

Whoever the young lady was, it was good to see such a young person getting involved.

Adding to all this chat, lets get serious. I will be getting signatures at Bishops Stortford on Sat, but will need help, Anyone who can lend a hand, will be welcome the coach should arrive around 1.30 to 1.45, any fans that are around, even if its in the bar, come and see me and get some forms, we need away fans really more than home, as we will be targetting home fans again from my position right in front of the turnstiles. how Number 8 missed , well my diet must have been more of a success that I thought.

Also we need you to take forms with you, get family and friends to sign them workmates, anyone with a pulse, we need more and more. we had over 430, but since Caroline and I started again plus of course Harry we must have added at least another 400 or maybe more, plus of course the on line.

We need more help, more push more everything, If we are really serious about Fleet First we have to show it.

We are also hoping to target Gravesend Town centre in the next couple of weeks so once again will need bodies to be visible in club shirts, hats scarves, spreading the word. It worked when we started up with the Trust, it can work again.

Keep watching notice boards, web site info and this forum, another meeting may be called and we will need each and everyone of you to attend. We want standing room only, remember it will soon be County Council Elections,5 May what are the views of your County Councillor, do you know who it is?

If they are willing to stand up and be counted and go public, I mean in the Press etc, then they may get a few more votes, nothing ventured. MP's also I am sure will be vote hunting as the general election will probably be at the same time. Let's make this a real local issue.

All volunteers welcome, remember this is not just a club, or Trust campaign, it's our campaign.

Indeed Jessica. Sorry I missed you last night too (in the shop), I intended to pop in but never got the chance (Q for Bovril and soup..)
Is there a chance you could scan the petition and save it as a PDF and attach it to a PM for me, I can then print it off and pass it round my office etc..?
I will be unable to go to the game on Sat due to family commitments, but I hope you get plenty of support not only for the match, but with the signatures too...

Well said Jess, I may be able to help all depends on what time my lift can get there but as long as I'm there in time I'll be only to happy.

Also would be happy to do the town centre and what about Bluewater? Also I may be going to Dartford or Welling on easter Saturday (were away on good friday) so I'll try and get some there.

Anyone seeing family over easter? I have a friend who works for Arsenal and for some reason she hates Gillingham (although I know thats not what it's about), perhaps we could get them on our side. I'll be seeing her over easter and will give her some petitions.

Also I have a cousin who supports AFC Wimbledon I could go with him to see an game where I'm sure I would get a good few signatures.
