rubbish collection OT

heard this evening that we are gonna get wheelie bins this year, 2 per household. Does anyone know when, had a look on the council website but couldnt see anything.

since they dont collect bins from the allys anymore where do they suggest we keep them all week?

maybe in car parking spaces?

or do they expect us to keep them in our houses, if so what about the old who cant carry a wheelybin.....

what hapens if you live in a flat on the top floor and there is no place for bins? i can imagine it now, you ok darling carrying the wheely bin down 200 stairs.

i dont think they have put much thought in to this.

Unless they plan to start using allys for collecting rubbish again?

 

oh and i read that if a bin is damaged or stolen you are responcable for the cost of replacement!!!

where i live is a house converted into 7 flats, thats means 14 wheelie bins, we struggle to fit 7 dustbins into the outside space we have.
