Yes, I remember the little Advanced Rules leaflet that came in the box. The ETSA sent me a copy of the International Rules.

 

I recall we bought a pitch, balls and goals in 1990 during the world cup and set it up in the middle of the office. It stayed for ages, for lunchtime and after work games, till the boss decied it might give clients the wrong impression. I reckon it was cos he was crap, really.

The Esso World Cup Coin Collection was actually going to be used as the single European currency, but then they realised that they were missing a Gordon Banks.

The IMF scrapped the use of the coins in 1998, but if you went direct to the Bank of england before july then they would exchange them for POGS
