According to the radio, the sending off was a bit dodgy ??

Nice one sums it up nicely

I thoroughly enjoyed todays experience of our overdue return to the Conference, the atmosphere of our segregated end was excellent, similar to that shown at Burton the only difference being we were at an uncovered end and they did not serve mushy peas !!

Our on loan player Sturgess was sent off for a professional foul on the edge of the box, however had the ref shown some consistency and sent off a Yeovil defender for exactly the same offence in the first half then the sending off of Sturgess would have been easiler to accept. This was the turning point off the game, Yeovil turned up the heat and in scenes reminisce to The Alamo we were virtually embedded in our box for the rest of the match and unfortunately could not hang on for the victory.

Barnett, Burton and Lee defended brillantly but my man of the match goes to Bentley who showed tremendous strength and ability in supporting both defence and attack.

Special mention also goes to Andy Y who bravely wore his green Deportive Wa*ka shirt especially as Super Daz wanted to rip it off his back and give it to the ref - very amusing

Thank you Steve W. for the great shirt..... My daughter was horror struck when I put it on, but it was worth it for the smiles from the Yeovil fans in the car park after the game!

It will be worn with pride!!! (Those of you who haven't yet seen it are in for a treat!)

Well, we arrived 20 minutes late for the game, because of the s**t traffic. We would have been there sooner but we unfortunately allowed "Chicken Lee" to direct us to the ground! So we missed the first goal and the bad injury, which at least gave us an extra 8 minutes! I hope the guy is ok though.

What a performance by this magnificent team! 13 heros out there today. Matt Lee was wonderful and my personal man of the match! But everyone contributed something against, what is obviously a very good Yeovil side. Towards the end it almost looked like a re-enactment of The Alamo out there! Even so we could have nicked it in the end, with just a bit of luck. There is a massive "step up" in the standards of play but guys like Jacko, Matt Lee, Nick Burton and co, semed to take it in their stride.

Only downer was the sending off, which, from my angle looked really harsh as it appeared he was running away from the goal and sturgess was covered by at least two other 'Fleet defenders. The referee was crap, and it was interesting to note that while talking to some Yeovil supporters after the game, they pointed out that he was one of the better officials..... Bring back Ryman League refs please!!

Very good backs to the wall performance, and it took an exceptional individual goal by their guy to open us up to start with.

My MOM was Paul Wilkerson, who used what seemed like every bit of his body to save almost everything that was thrown at him - Jamie is certainly going to have a fight on his hands getting back into the team on that showing from Paul.

By my count, it was 14 heroes - I dont know who Andy Y was excluding from being a hero ??

And to think we could still have won it in that last few minutes as well - one great ball in by Tostao that Boothy couldnt quite turn in & one other half chance as well.

Add to that Che's effort just before half time that, had it crept in, would have finished the game, and Mark Bentley's shot that was well saved at 2-1, which probably would have done likewise, and we were so close to a famous victory.

Still, to be fair, Yeovil missed chances as well, the guy hitting the underside of the bar in the first half, and the shot rolled wide of an almost open goal when the ball ran loose following Stansfields unfortunate injury, and had either of those gone in, we could have lost the game, so I am happy to settle for a 2-2 draw, even if it was slightly deflating in the end.
