I don't actually video the whole game; I watch it like anyone else, but point my camera at the action if it looks promising. This means; 1. I have to have it switched on ready, which it wasn't for Jay's goal; 2. When I point it at the action I'm accurate, which I wasn't for Manny's goal. Sorry; it's just the ball going in the net & me yelling. (I was trying to be restrained too in deference to the really pleasant Slough couple sitting next to me. In fact I thought their supporters generally were a credit to their club.)

 

Having seen the bit in the NLP about Victor being dissatisfied with Crawley's treatment of him, I'm glad I didn't argue when he turned round to consult with me over his choice for man of the match! Actually, I think he was spot on.

Yes, interesting stuff in the NLP today. For those that haven't seen it, according to them Victor is ending his role as 'principle (sic - a mistake repeated throughout) sponsor' of Crawley at the end of the season, because he felt they didn't advertize his company enough during the Sky game against Morecambe the other day, amongst other things.

Have to agree with those people who have been impressed by Paul McCarthy's performances lately. However much he's being paid, he certainly can't be accused of just being with us for the easy money.

 

Nice goal too on Saturday, as the clip shows. He was always going to win that header, though I think most Conference defences would have made him work a bit harder to get in on it.
