I'll repeat my comments, if your club were so worried about the state of the pitch, perhaps you should put more effort in to keep it in pristine condition and not make some back handed, crap comment. As it is, with ours and your games being played on it, I think it's holding up well...

 

To be honest, I really don't give a toss what you think about our pitch or ground. Come close season, you'll be gone (ground or no ground) and still in the Ryman Premier League.

The problem with the pitch is the same as with all pitches this year, if you have been watching any football on the TV you will see that they are having problems also. This is because the rain we have had has not penetrated deep enough and the roots have come to the surface which means that the grass is easily removed leaving the muddy patches.
