Just got a plug in on said Radio show for the boys. My email slagging the prospect of new technology blah blah blah, and the man read out about Romford from the Essex Senior League. That's my bit done for the weekend done, so what have YOU done today to make you feel proud!!!

Was still painful. But necessary, I've not been able to have a bath for three days now.

Reminds me of a conversation I overheard on the train once ...

 

Bloke was on the mobile to his wife, spent about five minutes arranging what he was going to have for dinner when he got in. When he had finished, he looked at his phone and said to his mate, "wonderful things aren't they?"

 

"What, mobile phones?"

 

"No, wives."

She works in a pub on Saturday nights. I tend to get my fun on a Friday night, which is why I'm often late for my lift on a Saturday ...

Last away game now comes down to either Bowers or Concord. Yum yum.

Well money is on a repeat of last season's final league game..and midweek too! At least they cannot lift the title against us this year. Wouldn't mind going to Bowers on a Saturday in April, that could be a real jolly boys outing!
