Went over to see Hertford v Abingdon this afternoon.

 

I couldn't understand why there was a big cheer when the blues went 1 - 0 up. It then dawned on me that I had spent most of the first half thinking that Hertford were in yellow!

 

Must be the cold weather!

 

Not a bad game considering that the pitch was very poor. We could not work out why an Abingdon player was sent off but the funniest thing to happen was when Hertford scored their third goal. A defender picked the ball out of the net and kicked it hard towards the centre of the pitch. Shame he did not know that a Hertford player was standing only a few yards away and it hit him on the head knocking him to the ground. From where we were standing it looked funny anayway.

Personaly I couldn't be bothered to go,terrible journey,poor ground,too cold and NO interest in either side winning or losing.

 

(and too close to west ham.)

not only did Andy not know who was who until the 17th minute, he couldn't walk all the way around the ground as he had hsi persil white trainers on! maybe they compensate for not having a white stick.

 

Brunob have a word with the old man see if he has a spare stick for Andy!

The journey was o k with west ham being away, Too cold,what ground wasn't this weekend, And too close to west ham, All the more reason to go to the holyland.

look everyone is forgetting 1 thing Goldsdown road is the stadium of heaven
