We are now 10 points above the bottom three with Two matches in Hand

They were supposed to be playing Canvey on Tuesday, but Canvey have to replay at Bishops Stortford.

Hucknall are not the team we want.

 

Ignore their league position - they had a poor start to the season, sacked their manager and his replacement's record after today's match is something like losing just 5 out of 31. They are a team in form.

Bishops Stortford at home please... hoping they beat Canvey!

No easy games at this stage - Bishops Stortford look roughly the same team as Eastbourne based on league positions, and we didnt romp to victory against Eastbourne, did we ?

 

Hucknall and Grays are the only lower level teams definitely through - I'd be happy to see Eastwood beat Hereford in their replay, and get them at home (but somehow, I think they've had their chance now).

 

Given that the other Conference sides through are Woking, Exeter and Burton, I think I'd be happy to get a home tie against one of Burton, Canvey/Bishops Stortford, or Hucknall (or Eastwood, of course if they get through).

 

Would prefer to avoid Grays, Woking and Exeter(although our record against Exeter is good up to now), and of course, Hereford, if they win through, especially away from home.

Let's hope your wishes come true, Alan - but it has to be said that we have been exceedingly lucky with our draws so far, with three home games against lower-league opposition. We couldn't really have any complaints if we ended up with Woking away or someone this time around.
