To say Slough did not have to many shots , yes your right ... 2 out of 4 not too bad ?? however it was the same at the other end too ...how many direct shots did the Slough keeper have to make ? no many either....more goal mouth scrambles...

a good cup tie all round , plenty of incidents and goals...

good luck today , for a good home draw....

cheers...up the rebels.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Saw the goals again on Meridian news tonight - it certainly appeared the critcism of Wilko for their first goal was rather unfair - it was a cracking shot, and he was actually only a couple of yards off his line. And Manny's cool finish was excellent as well.

Yes Alan - it's a bit like Portsmouth's long-range goal against Manchester United on Saturday. Howard really couldn't do anything about it, it was a fine strike - yet Peter Schmeichel still managed to suggest some might criticize him for conceding the goal. Presumably this was only based on the fact that he had made mistakes before, and so can easily become a bit of a scapegoat. The fact is, the shot was an excellent one, and very few 'keepers would have been standing exactly on their line at that stage.
