leading goalscorers

As there is nothing better to do, here's a boring question that someone may be able to answer.

 

I've just seen the latest 'mitto' leading ESL goalscorers list up to 12th Feb. this list has the leaders at 19 and the bottom one at 12.

 

However well before that date Reevo of Bowers had scored 14 league goals (including 1 for Basildon earlier in the season).

 

So can anyone believe this list at all? Where does it come from?

 

Anyway I said it was boring so back to painting the ceiling.

That's obviously news to the league. Maybe your own records differ to what has been submitted to the league through the season. Check with Lee, if he doesn't know how many your players have scored then God help you all.

Not to woory, although it does prove that the list isn't too accurate. I suppose as long as the top one is right thats all that matters.

Actually I must own up to a vested interest in this matter.

 

Ever since he was 8 years old I have given Anthony 10 pence a goal (10 pence I ask you!!). He's never forgotten even though its now 15 years later.

 

This season I have promised him a bonus of 20 pence!! if he gets to 20 league goals so you can see why I was keen to ensure that my 'back of a fag packet' calculations were in line with the official verdict (which they aren't).

 

Anyway mustn't say too much more in case the taxman gets to know.

The buck stops at me ! I have checked through the records and you are quite correct. Anthony Reeve has 13 goals with Bowers in the League and Cup and 1 with Basildon, so I have corrected this with Centre Spot . I recognise that he also scored 1 against Maldon in the County Cup but that cannot be included in League figures. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention, I know how much it means to players !
