Misread the subject for a mo...... thought we were talking Urchinetts on page three.

 

However, now I have to accept that is not going happen lets talk Sheep.

 

Can Newport honestly say they have not endured these jokes for many a year. Why is it suddenley now racist. I would have thought all non welsh teams BAA none have had some banter going at soem time when playing Newport.

 

I am going up that way for a conference in September, I better mind my p's....q's......and U'S after a few beers if I don't want to get done for a race related incident. Im mean for FLOCKS sake!

Absolutely right BOROMAN. I mentioned this whole affair to a work colleague in Yorkshire. He was amazed by the whole thing. He supports Halifax Town and says that visiting fans often use the "sheep sh*ggers" chant. It is accepted as normal football banter. So it would seem it is acceptable to call a Yorkshireman a "sheep sh*agger" but not a Welshman (or lady). Could only happen in England!
