Now 2-0. Jimmy Jackson, left foot shot. Live on Radio Kent. Yeovil have hit the bar but other than that, Fleet seem to be in the ascendancy!!

On you reds!!!

How unlucky can you get, listen to the game on the radio and thought we were mighty not to get the three points.Commentator said he thought sturgess was unlucky to get sent off.But well done to all the lads great result would have taken a point at the start.

And a point certainly was disappointing. In a game that had everything, the ref (now there's a surprise) was very poor.

Great goals, an unfortunate broken leg for the yeovil striker involved in the 50-50 ball with Paul Wilkason, who kept us ahead for most of the game.

Possibly a harsh sending off for us, but if the blatant foul on Jacko had been given at the other end then the incident in question would not have occured. Incidently, the ref had a similar situation in the first half, in which the yeovil player involved only got a yellow.

Overall, great performance to start the season. For added measure, and to make some splutter when they read this, my man of the match was Matt Lee. An absolutely outstanding first half from the bloke - more of the same please!

*****addendum*****

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson added: "It was a display which showed his team spirit if not quality."

Hmmmm. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/upyours.gif" alt="" />

James, the shop assistant at Sportsgear has got his press warmed up and the letters L.E.E. and the number 2 ready to be permanently placed on the back of your nice new shirt.

All these years we wondered what Andy was doing, playing Matt Lee each week, now I know. He was building him up for the Conference. Matt played out of his skin, the best performance I have ever seen him make. If Matt can play like this every game, the 'Fleets' defence is stronger than ever, even without Francis. And the two goals Yeovil scored.....

.....well we were a man down.

I went and had LEE 2 put on my shirt yesterday in awe of his performance as heard on Radio Kent. I was also in awe of Skins' quality second half summary, much better than Chaz's but then I guess Skins got there on time.

I am pleased for Matty, let's hope it lasts for the whole season, needless to say I lie about the name and number, I'm gonna bide my time, if Spurs can nearly sign Rivaldo I hate to think who'll be down at Stonebridge Road next.
