In a last-ditch attempt to conquer my inner demons, I have reluctantly decided to kill off YB941 5thD EFM ~soul~, as his whole being is the embodiment of everything evil in my life.

 

From this day onwards, I am dedicating my life to the two things that are most important to me. My son and the Beatles.

 

I have desperately tried to stop drinking on many, many occasions but I can't do it. For this reason I have to be realistic and learn to live with this compulsion. But in an attempt to purify my body, the only alcohol that will pass my lips from now on will be Champagne.

 

I will be dumping my television set when I get home. Television is a disease that makes you brain-dead and lazy. I will be listening to music in the evenings now instead of television. Music is the oxygen that rich minds need to breathe. Television is the poison that chokes us.

 

I am ditching sport, the Tory Party and chinese takeaways in favour of song-writing and onion bhaji salads. I will vote Conservative in the 2005 elections, and after that I will be running for office myself, leading a new party, my main policies being the banning of television, privately-owned motor vehicles and 95% of alcoholic drinks.

 

I have also quit EFM.

It'll make you a more beautiful person mate. I ditched TV (as in just watching it for no real reason in the evening, I still watch some things and DVD's) a couple of years ago. As Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy once said Television is The Drug Of The Nation.

 

I do hope you quit EFM with a heavy heart though.

ive had a pretty heavy week off work.. will be looking to get back down the gym next week as it beats sitting in the office..

i am going to dedicate myself to having a car that does less than 15 to the gallon and having 4 sky boxes in my house..

im looking to incorporate sport and boozing even more but the trouble is i keep forgetting what happened in the sport bit.. gambling in casinos will be playing a big part of this summer and champagne, mm yes i like that idea
