We just didn't get going at all and going 2-0 up flattered us enormously (thanks to your keeper!)

 

I think we just looked tired and unimaginative after a long, hard and pretty predictable (TBH) season.

 

If that was your first choice XI I can see why you knocked the likes of Walsall and Thurrock out of the cups.

 

Next season is going to be very interesting. I really can't wait to play teams like you on a regular basis.

 

Crowd was pretty sparce, but I guess the 45 minute journey from a closed Clapham Junct did for at least a hundred of us and you've got a bigger game on Saturday.

 

Good luck for the rest of the season, but more importantly, good luck in getting back to Slough!

Thanks Limo. Talk about a game of two halves! I thought we paid you a little too much respect in the first half and paid the price. In the second half we went back to the Slough side which has beaten most teams in cup competitions this year in terms of our incisive attacking, good use of the flanks, strong forward play and disciplined defence.

 

That was mostly our first team although our main centre forward (Ian Hodges) was playing at the back since the loss of Alex Haddow from left wing back which we're still coming to terms with.
