Goal Scoring at Stag Meadow - Statto Question

Burnham Lad

Recommended Posts

Last night all six goals were scored at the Windsor Great Park End.

I have a sense that more goals ARE scored at that end, both home and opposition, but is it true?

Looking at all the matches, both Windsor and Slough, do we both score more at one end than the other? Do we concede more at one end than the other, or does it all average out over the season?

Whilst not wishing to hijack the interesting point that Andrew has raised, but continuing on a statto theme, how many times have AFC Wimbledon in their short history, conceded four goals in a competitive fixture?!

Andrew - might have something to do with the pitch sloping in that direction?

Could well be - it strikes me that if the stats show that we score most of our goals that end and also concede them, then the pitch disposition is a definite factor which Eddie ought to take account of in his defensive tactics. If Windsor find the same then , it must be considered proved!

I await Gary's analysis of the clips with interest and Woody, would anybody know the answers for Windsor?
