Mr Lippiat's Record

Laz

Recommended Posts

I've just been sent this statistic that compares Lippy's form so far with that of Steve Castle for the first 14 games.

-------- P Pts PPG Pos

Lippiatt 14 24 1.71 11

Castle-- 14 9 0.64 40

PPG - Points Per Game

Pos - Their current position in the all time mangers chart.

Can anyone explain why in the last programme Steve Castle was praised for his work with the PASE team or whatever they are called now? Why not give Lippy a pat on the back? He certainly deserves one from what I've seen so far.

Colin Lippiatt has a performed a minor miracle at the club, considering the state it was left in by the previous manager. He has added only 4 or 5 players but has removed the dross and now has the side playing for each other as a team, a stark contrast to earlier in the season.

Top man, Colin!

Hi Laz.

Impressive statistics, indeed.

I read, with interest, the comments in Saturday's matchday programme concerning the stirling work done by Steve Castle and Chris Zoricich with the 'Academy' [formerly known as the PASE scheme]. No reference to the income that the thing generates for the club, however. That is likely to be jolly impressive, too.

I wonder 'what next' for the PASE set-up for next season?

If he's doing such a good job it might be nice to seem some stats for the PASE team in the programme. I understand they managed a draw last season amid some hefty defeats.

I imagine the income is nil but what do I know. There doesn't seem to be any other visible benefit other than to those that run it (and get paid).

AFF, Thinking about it, I don't really want to know anything about the PASE scheme. As far as I can see it is of no benefit to SACFC. If I'm wrong, then please tell me why.

Laz, if you're there next Tuesday I'll explain the whole thing to you .............and anyone else thats interested ....... mind you, you could well be needing a drink when I'm finished

I still know some things about the scheme that would be of interest .... trust me

Jake is doing really well, has amazed us and all at the hospital with the speed of his recovery ... in fact evryone he has seen so far finds it hard to believe he underwent major brain surgery only 10 days ago.

He will come to the game next Tuesday all being well and I am sure he will thank you all in person for all the kind messages and genuine concern shown over the past few days.
