Next Round - Bryco Cup

Could face a trip to Essex in the next round of the Bryco (Semi's) as Heybridge are through after winning on pens against Folkestone. Good thing is even if we do play in Essex the semi-finals are played over two legs so we have a chance.

Bad thing being another two Tuesday's to fit in!!! Now which Slough Town will turn up Saturday? The one against Heybridge or the one that played with pace and temp tonight?

Not necessarily ARAAS. The final is not scheduled until 2nd May (given it is usually on May Day bank holiday). Therefore there are two months to fit the semis in - the difficulty being we have got to squeeze in 16 league games and possibly more trophy games than the one on Saturday

oh right, should be an interesting squeeze then!

personally, as much as i think we can do it, im not sure we will get past gravesend at the weekend. i thought it was only the last 16? wouldnt that mean at least 3 trophy games?

Here is the breakdown ARAAS.

Gravesend on Saturday plus replay if required

Quarter final plus replay if required

Semi final - over two legs

Final sometime in May

I'm not saying that we'll even get a draw at Gravesend on Saturday, just pointing out that our fixture backlog could get drastically worse!

Braintree - they deserved to beat us at their place although I believe that was as much to do with how badly we defended as it was how they played. Over two legs it could go either way and might come down to who was at home in the second leg.

Chelmsford - when they beat us in the league it was the bad Slough that turned up that day. Got our revenge in the trophy. Would be reasonably confident over two legs.

Heybridge - we owe them one after last Saturday and if the proper Slough turn up I would be happy to draw them, particularly over two legs.

Billericay - difficult one to call and again a lot depend on which Slough team turn up. Given our appalling record in Essex it's just as well we've a home leg to fall back on if we get this one.

Hampton - oh no. As daunting as a trip to Essex is, Devonshire's team's always club their way to success against us. Mind you, their ultimate thug has left now.
