I know for sure some people have 'come out' as being a Chelsea fan in the last season or two. As i was at school at that time i saw all the glory hunters swarm around chelsea like flies around [censored]. Once the [censored] rot's they'll go away

The wheels may well have come off for Chelsea. Having culled the squad to a more manageable size Mourinho is now paying the price for a spate of injuries. Chelsea will lose to Barcelona and Liverpool and then United will win the league. Then everyone can be smug that money does not buy you success. Because obviously no other teams pay astonomical transfer fees or silly wages.

But to be perfectly honest I think we should ban all talk about Premiership clubs on a non-league forum.

Chelsea are the Premiership's Hornchurch/Eastleigh. Now there's a comparison! Once their primary source of revenue (an individual) disappears, they'll be saddled with unsustainable debts and return from whence they came. United and Arsenal have much better financial bases to remain at the top.

That's not biased against Chelsea over the others because, personally, I dislike all three clubs and the arrogant, eliteist attitude of virtually all premiership teams. Non league footbal is real football.

Just out of interest when is Abramovich going then? You seem to have inside information. Or is it, as I suspect, wishfull thinking on your part? Ask yourself why he is more likely to go than say the Arsenal or Man Utd Chairmen or any other one for that matter? As a matter of fact, I would have thought that the fact he is so wealthy means he is less likely to cash in his chips and sell up. As for the negative comment on Premier League football I am surprised. I love all levels of football, whether it be the World Cup Final or my boy and his mates kicking a ball around in the garden...I'll watch it.

Hence I shall be at the Rebels game tonight, and watching the Blues tomorrow...........and I am looking forward to them both!

See what I mean, just have to laugh!

Arsenal may be lucky - but never humerous

ManU may be arrogant - but never funny

Newcastle may be have misplaced passion but are never ridulous

Spurs may be Sadly delusional - but never amusing.

Just say it.. Chelsea FC ..see the smile breaks into a giggle....

Can't stop yourself can you.

I have no idea when or if Ambramovich will go. My point is that Chelsea are financially solely reliant on one person. That is a very bad position to be in. It's totally different for United and Chelsea as they are not in the same position of being dependent on an individual so their respective chairmen are not pumping in the same level of funds as Abramovich.

Is it wishful thinking? Not in the slightest. I would like Chelsea to be succesful this year partly just for a change but also because I find Mourinho's honesty quite refreshing, particularly over Wenger and Ferguson. I do fear however fear for the Chelsea fans who are currently crowing about how big a club they are when that wealth is predacated on one individual choosing to remain involved. As a business model, it's very precarious and it's the true fans that suffer when it invariably comes crumbling down. Not that there's anything you can do about it but I'm surprised Chelsea fans cannot see the danger in having one person involved.

I love Slough and Chelsea but due to the astronomical cost since I was about 13 I have only gone to a handful of Blues games each season whereas between 1992 and 1996 I only missed 5 Slough home games. Of course it's easier to support Chelsea living as I do in Liverpool as I watch them on the tv but I will always always describe myself as a supporter of both clubs. People laugh at the extremes of supporting these two but what are you going to do?
