On the subject of meaningless nonsensical posts, I thought we might like to have a little look at some of the stuff LS has posted over the past year.

 

 

Grolsch is awful,any Pale Ale tastes like pond water.Alan Partridge's favourite tipple 'Directors' is nice.So is Fullers.Havn't tried Badger,Cobra,Everards.

 

I'm sure Cyclops will put us straight on beers.But he seems to have gone AWOL from these forums lately.

 

If you look on the backpage of the Sawbo programme.One of their committee men is called.'Jim Gotobed'.

 

 

My teacher at school was called Charlie Chaplin....Not a play on words,i know.But still quite funny and totally true.

 

So the names, Solly/Pickard/Cudworth/Pringle...etc, will ring a bell with you.

 

I think the difference is, that Brimsdown is at its worst in dry conditions and Abbeys probably when theres wet conditions. Obviously this years weather has favoured Towns pitch more.

All the quotes you highlighted from me we 'on topic' or replying directly to a previous posters comments.They wern't just mindless drivel spouted between two people.I believe you and Abbeynut have recently started 'Trolling'.

 

For those of you who don't know what that is.It means when members of a forum purposely go 'of topic' all the time and generally try to annoy other forum members,usually out of boredom or resentment.As they get more and more of a kick out of winding people up and wasting peoples time,their attitudes and disruptivness tend to get worse. I'm fairly certain that about a week or two ago, Coupwotcoup and Abbeynut decided to post nonsence on this ESL forum.Coincidently about the same time as Enfield Town hit the top of the table.Is it lack of interest in the ESL on their part or just a sence of miscieviousness ? Who Knows.

 

What i do know, is that it lacks wit and charm ,and as such is just tedious.
