Kevo, ignore the hardcore band of about 30 train spotting anoraks who inhabit this site fella, the majority are numpties who’s only excitement in life is being able to pull people up on spelling, typing and grammatical errors – I’m not joking either look back through some of the previous messages, you’ll see we really do have fans who get stiffy’s over pointing out a miss-placed apostrophe or incorrect use of capital letters.

You can put these comments on your website mate, or alternatively save yourself the effort mate and when Gillingham re-locates to Gravesend and GNFC are in their rightful position in the lower reaches of league football we can all laugh at them.

i wish that GNFC could be in the lower reaches on 'league' football mr. anon

Here we have a classic example of my above point regarding Fleet anoraks ability to be able to notice typing error.

‘FleetMan’ has correctly noticed that there is no chance whatsoever of GNFC being anywhere near the ‘lower reaches of league football’ and has quite rightly pointed out that it should have been the far more realistic ‘lower reaches of NON-league football’.

Another point Kevo which I didn’t point out originally is that they hate people who choose to post anonymously – by choosing to do so it marks you out as someone who is independent of this gang of cyber-nerds and therefore they feel outside of their comfort zone.

Note that will you.

Yes, we are in the relegation zone of the championship, Yes we look likely to be relegated, but come on, We are in a higher position now than you lot can ever dream of. Twice been to Wembley in recent season and being able to take over 50,000 supporters one one occasion - you can only dream of achiving that. Even our home attendances dwarf you stabby follwing.

Where have the 50,000 gone now? what you forget is that gnfc have a loyal band of supporters and if you were in our nposition i'd like to see your attendances.

But we are not in your position and unlikely ever to be there. You have reached your zenith, three seasons of conference football is it for you, if you were ever relegated you simply would not be in a position to regain your conference status. Your support is the highest it has ever been and if you were to suffer relegation then your crowd would drop to around 500.

Gillingham playing in Gravesend would be in the shop window so to speak. An established League team with a hardcore following seven or eight times that of yours (at the very least) with a first class stadium, facilities and transport links at the potential to attract up to 20,000 supporters.

Who’s situation would you rather be in?

We are not in your position and never will be ???

You may not have slipped into the Conference a few years back, but you must have a short & selective memory, given that you were so close to losing your league status before working your way back up the leagues (and now in the process of working your way down again , of course).

If you can get as high as the "Championship" (Division 2 in old terms), then so can we.
