Does anybody remember that young guy who used to play for us a few years back called Arron Wright? I bumped into him over the weekend and he no longer plays semi pro. A real shame as I remember him being one of the best players we had. Like a whippet!

 

That's the sort opf player we should be bringing back to the Bridge

Yeah I remeber him and it is a shame that he doesnt play anymore. But I don't blame him. When he was at Grays and they made it through to the 1st round of the F.A Cup Barnet put in a bid for him. But the club kept it quiet. He would have gone full time as they were in the 3rd division at the time. So he just gave up and game and started working in the City.

 

He scored some great goals and was super quick. If he was nurtured properly i think he had the potential to be a very good player.

i also remember him scoring winner for aveley against hornchurch the year we went up with northwood,i have known him for a while,was a good player

Arron left us for Barking about 6 years ago, dunno for how much but a bit of a loss at the time.
