Coach Saturday

Don't know the score on the ale thing, the best thing to do is jump on our forum and ask the question, there will be some one on there that knows all the local pubs around the ground, there are a few within walking distance. I think the rose up the hill may do so), If you are driving there is a grass footy field about 3 mile along the main road towards dartford, on route to the ground you can stop at, and not have to divert off route, other than that its the waste industrial land 10 mins walk from the ground. Have a shout on our forum, you will get the help you need.

Up Fleet, to follow on from Charlie's point, is there any grassy area nearby for a pre match kick about as a lot of us like to have a game if the coach arrives early.

There is a very large playing field literally 5/6 mins walk from the ground, in Swanscombe. Just face away from the plough, follow that road to the george and dragon pub (where you turn left) and then the 2nd right (next the the wheatsheaf - you can't miss that cuse its bright yellow!) and hey presto your there! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

If you need more precise directions, name etc just ask.

Did not even need to go to your forum. Thanks for all the info. Looking forward to the game Saturday (although probably not as much as your forwards given our showing at Heybridge).

Game is definitely segregated, jus found out but you get the best food bar by a long way. Enjoy your visit on Saturday and don't injure yourselves in the kick about before hand. There will be a small number of seats available to any elderly or disabled Slough fans but that doesn't mean kick the S**t out of each other in the game on the playing field and coming in with a limp hopeing to get one. It will be at the stewards discretion and is usually aimed at people over 50 odd. Tey Coopers Arms for real ale by the way.

Yes, it's still uncovered, but if there is bad weather the stewards usually allow away fans under a bit of the main stand but that was before the plough end stand was closed so it's anyones guess.

Unfortunately no there is no cover available on Saturday due to the closure of one end meaning restricted space available. Bring your brollies and wrap up very warm. A shovel and some kendal mint cake might be of use and does anyone know anyone with a St Bernard?
