I had moved to that spot about ten seconds earlier and was still setting up the camera, besides which it was poor light (as previously stated) so it takes a while for the camera to focus as I prefer not to use the flash during a game. If it had been at a set piece I'd more likely have been ready for it, but I think the out-of-focus quality adds to the drama, no?
