what has happened over the past few months, i think it has caught up with us and after some fine performances over those months, We were well and truely beaten by a good team. No complaints.

but seriously you are right...with everything that has happened sooner or later a back lash on the pitch was inevitable....especially with Tony tinkering and plotting and schemeing for next season...(which is his remit)....

 

sad to say but I have already written this season off and play offs or not we must look towards being strong on and off the pitch in august....

Don't get me wrong, Jamie was Jamie and we deserved at least a brace just on his guts alone. Micky Desborough made some fine saves in the first half, and it could have been worse.

We were handicapped by their hight advantage, considering that we only seem to play players under 4'00 against a 7'05 defence, so maybe we deserved another one for that handicap. But hey I am only a fan and I write what I see.

Basically, no midfield and with only Dougie up front we wern't going to create much.

So hey ho another day in the life of an urchin fan.

he he...nice bait there diggsy...and I'll bite....I don't have to defend myself for not being there....I'm there when it matters...like when the bank account needs topping up....175k in the past 5 weeks and another 200k to go....

 

we all do our bit in different ways do we not...and I've still probably seen more games than you in the past 4 years....

just fishing to see if you were still awake.

I might ask for a recount on the number of games, there are not many that I have missed this season home and away, so be careful as one may have to eat ones words (sauce included).

As I have said before, I will be glad to see you back when you do appear. I am sure that there is alot that you have done, that we are not aware of, which as a supporter I am grateful. So when you have stopped fighting the off field battles just remember your place in the riverside is still there.

just thought we were rubbish,in conditions like that,once you are two down its nigh on impossible to get back into,there centre backs thrived on the conditions,we simply wern't good enough,but i think they will be better next week,just put it down to an off day coz no one has played us of the park like that since cambridge,we will win 3-1 next week,trust me

We all know it was a bad day at the office but you should not exspect to much after what has happend at the club.Tony and Carl are nice people but you must remember they have not managed at this level before so most of our new players will come from lower leagues this will show in our game.
