my poor old dad and uncle who had the privilige to play for slough town, would be turning in their graves at this present shower-its blinding obvious to all, that there is no fight or good enough defenders at the club.

and those idiots that are STILL looking for a top five finish-well! is there any hope??

shut the hell up, for crying out loud we lose a game and all the idiots come out the woodwork, I didn`t go but did your father and grandfather play in the 2nd round of the fa cup get to the last 16 of the Fa Trophy when playing in the Ryman Premier Division. These players are almost the same players that played in Ryman Division 1 last year. We have had a great season, none of us thought a top 5 finish would be on this season, but they way the season has panned out yes there was a chance and maybe still is, but i am sure most supporters would have been happy to avoid relegation or mid table at best.

For ten minutes in the second half we were unstopable - however it was the other eighty minutes that were the problem!

 

Poor defending and lack of imagination in the middle plus a tired out attack caused our downfall.

 

The defending at times was pityful verging on the comical.

 

Fought back to be 2 - 1 up and then through it away big time!

 

Hope we end up in the southern next season as I am feed up loseing in essex.

hmmm... thought original post was bang out of order...

ms deans has evidently not seen slough's form throughout the season and therefore has no right to make such blatantly unfair, emotionally charged comments on a side she clearly knows nothing about

a team with "no fight" and bad defenders do not beat giants like walsall, do not get to the last sixteen in the FA Trophy and do not keep battling despite having no home.

A team with no fight wouldn't attract so many regular fans to both home and away games

 

i would put it to you, that your dad and uncle would be turning in their graves at you for not continuing to support their club through their downs as well as their ups and NOT the club's present form

Our problem is not that we don't have good players, because we do. The problem is consistency. As people have pointed out, if the players were just plain rubbish, they wouldn't have achieved some of the performances they have this season. They do, however, need to perform to those levels on a more regular basis.

 

On our day we're as good as any team in this division. Today we just had too many good players playing poorly. I'd be interested to know why people think that Sough Town have a divine right to be running away with this division. I'll be happy with where we finish which is likely to be just about top half.

Tara, defensively today we were very poor. Mistakes were made and lots of them but we've hardly been leaking goals all season. 16 clean sheets for the season suggests that the only thing that is blindingly obvious is your desire to slag off the club and the players. As for bringing up dead relatives, you're a bigger drama queen than the Leyton number 10. I'm sure they really appreciate you bringing them up just to try to score a point on a messageboard. They must be very proud of you.

maybe you're jumping ship too fast tara, this club, since its relegation, has been very inconsistant, with the relegation, the 'promotion', and the cup runs, as well as league form. but you need to give the boys some credit, we could have been driven into the ground by now if it wasnt for everything they do. yes they have bad games, and very bad games, but you have to think of the positives.

a top 5 finish is still possible mathematically, and although some of us wish we could get that far, we all know that realistically its probably not going to happen, but it doesnt mean the season is over and we should all start moaning.

To be fair mate-I was registered once ask the people who run this site-but i was always having trouble signing in.
BUT BACK TO THE POINT-I don't care whether you care or not-because I have seen more Slough games than you've had hot dinners-and as for that idiot who said did my relations make the 2nd round of the F.A.Cup or last sixteen of the F.A.Trophy-What about the F.A. Amatuer cup final is that good enough ?
