Mr Penn is a mighty good player and worthy of a town shirt. But this is a team game and he compliments an already excellent team. Certainly spanked Romford (with only 10 men)!

 

Missing a home game against Romford is financially not as big a deal as you might think when we play teams like AFC Sudbury and Hampton & Richmond! We still have big games to come in the league against Barkingside and Waltham Abbey which will attract crowds bigger that our 100+ season ticket holders you guys enviously quote.

 

It has been a mild winter so far. Our playing staff operate within a budget and for the first three years of our existance that has been a great success. Long may it continue.

what is it with the u sad g!ts that think ETFC sign players on for £15,000 and pay the 000's of £'s each week, get real.

 

This is the ESL for goodness sake.

 

I am sure the TOWN players will not be driving their range rovers around north london, or taking holidays on their private island retreats.

Compo, there you ETFC, big time charlies go again, name dropping! AFC Sudbury and Hampton and Richmond.

 

Mr Penn is a fine player, and know it as i have followed his progress at Grays, Billericay and Chelmsford.

 

My whole point has been, would he be with you without a wage. I say this with the respect that you are in a position to pay your players, but LOYALTY is questioned!

 

Mr Abramovitch ( chelsea ) is on the verge of buying sucess. Clubs have created a breed of players that will follow rich chairman and a pound note.

 

Although ETFC's Creation and sucess is highly respected, it is the ARROGANCE of a few that riles the day to day NON LEAGUE followers like myself.

QNQ You have one hell of a big chip on your shoulder. Do you honestly think that we are paying huge sums to players? (three figures etc) Yes they get paid but trust me the amounts involved wouldn't make me suddenly change my lifestyle. In fact when I suggested to a mate that he go for a trial he stated that he would rather play with his mates in the local pub team for nothing as the amount we pay wouldn't make up for that.

We are well supported but we have no rich chairman and any monies raised are done so by the club and through sponsorship.

We didn't ask for you to be chucked out of the Cup. You made that error yourself. Sour Grapes ?
