We will struggle to accomodate the highest gate so far of 1700 or so without the Fleet end open, that is unless they open the away end to us..!

I thought the atmosphere was good on Saturday, all packed in together liked that it felt like siege mentallity. Anyway the club obviously aren't going to have the workfinished by the end of the season and how can we raise the cash? IF we had £75,000.00 then we'd be full time.

Because the limiting factor is not the terracing but the speed at which we can empty the ground in an emergency. The Closure of the terracing has not restricted any of the exits, so the capacity remains broadly the same.

No Chance ,that idea has been mentioned to them but the other way round, its the bottom rows from the posts down that are o.k but the health and saftey team wouldnt budge, like wise we are not allowed to repair the terrace in parts, its all or nothing.

the person i talk to Mick Ward as he use to live next door to me and now live just about 5 minutes away.

i see him most mornings up the shops and speak to him then.

Following on from what you said, Dave. I think I'm right in saying that the 'actual' ground capacity is well in excess of 12,000, (re: the Sunderland game and without ANY restrictions).

However, with the present day restrictions this, as we know, is no longer the case. What I think Dave is getting at is, as no exits are restricted by the Northfleet terrace capacity stays the same. Therefore, if we had the space to place one or even two more exits from the ground our capacity would go up. Hypothetically, of course.
