Thurrock have put a seven day notice in for Danny and want to speak to him about joining their club. Everything has been done correctly by Thurrock, no problem. TC asked Danny if he wanted to go and Danny was undecided but also felt that a new start would be better for him. I have told TC to release him and wish him all the best.

 

I know that Danny epitomises the difficult times and I know that he will always be a hero to the faithful. But its right to let him go if he wants a fresh start.

 

He surely couldn't have done anymore for Hx, he gave his all and beyond that. Good luck to him and thanks for the brave performances.

All the best Shippy, his attitude was different class. Could easily have walked away,given that he was only a sub before November. He more than most, particulary with his goal-output has been a leader when the Chins needed one these past few months.

Yep, totally agree with Guv. I will be very sorry to see Shippy leave but fully respect his decision.

Dan, your commitment and devotion to the Urchin cause was superb mate, and especially so by backing Urchin Aid.

I, for one, will certainly be attending any Thurrock game in addition to your "special" match at Victoria Road when played.
