I'm not having a pop at your club or your secretary in any way, but it seems odd to me that it's all getting that difficult. If you acquire a player from another ESL club, directly or indirectly, then you know there's a fair chamnce he's played in one or more of the cup competitions. So ask him.... and his previous employers. As for national or county comps, well, just ask him again.

 

Maybe a simpler variation of the patent Coup Card system would be to require the "selling" club to submit a list of all games the player plyed that season with the competition concerned, to the "buying" club. A bit like a car registration document.

Dunno how serious you are trying to be, but each player can normally play in no more than 8? cups. So on a realistic thread, it shouldn't take more than one page because they would be CUP-TIED....But if you are taking the p!ss....grrrrrrrrr.
